eResearch Centre Open Day 2011

eResearch practice in support of research is now widespread and expanding from the sciences into the social sciences and humanities. JCU has much to gain from the adoption of eResearch collaboration tools, remote data access and open
research practice.

The open day will showcase the Centre’s services and activities. Come and see various presentations and trade displays about everything relating to eResearch. Demonstrations of the latest products are on offer and examples of how to boost your research productivity with eResearch. This informative event is being held during Celebrating Research@JCU 2011.

• This will take place on: 8 September 2011.
• The function and displays will be in building DB17.
• Commencing at 10am.

The event will be opened by Professor Sandra Harding (JCU Vice-Chancellor) with a welcoming presentation by Professor Chris Cocklin (Deputy Vice-Chancellor).
